Optoma Announces the 3D Ready HD66 Projector
The Optoma HD66 is a 3D ready projector that's priced at a very comfortable $699. It's not a powerhouse, but it's one of the cheapest ways to get a high definition 3D picture in the house. Optoma's 3D projector is a strong offering for those looking to try out the new 3D offerings, but it does present a few limitations that, while acceptable for the price, are pretty disappointing.

SIM2 Releases MICO 50 LED DLP Projector
There's no debate as to the direction the projector market is heading.  LED seems to be the focus of high and end low end companies alike.  With that in mind, SIM2 has released their first entry into the single chip Full HD LED DLP projector market.

InFocus Launches Two New IN550 Series Projectors
A pair of new projectors – the IN5534 and IN5504 – is now available from InFocus.  Created especially for situations which would tax normal projectors, the IN5534 and IN5504 were designed to be able to run 24/7. Both projectors offer WUXGA resolution (1920 X 1200) and Texas Instruments DLP technology.  Both feature automatic ceiling detection and keystone, which helps to eliminate common image distortion issues.

Digital Projection Announces LED Illuminated DLP Projector
Dubbed the M-Vision Cine LED, the newest projector from Digital Projection International is one of several announced by different companies this year featuring LED lighting in lieu of a traditional lamp.  The M-Vision Cine LED is capable of producing 600 Lumens and a 10,000:1 contrast, and are recommended for spaces with controlled ambient light and a screen around 8’ wide.

Runco Announces Lightstyle Projectors
Runco just recently announced plans to release a new series of entry level high definition projectors.  Bearing the monikers LS-3, LS-5 and LS-7, the new line of projectors is intended to supply a quality HD picture at a value oriented price.  Runco’s LS-3 and LS-5 projectors feature a single DLP chip and two lens options to suit varying room sizes.
