A new HDMI-extending solution from Florida’s Tributaries® Cable sets a new standard for performance. Tributaries’ new HXMini5 can send fully high-definition HDMI video with audio more than 300 feet (100 meters) with no loss of video quality or A/V reliability, and does so while retaining full compatibility with the latest HDMI standard, v1.3.
Accell has announced the availability of the newest addition to their UltraRun product line, the UltraRun 1.3 HDMI cables. This new line of long-length HDMI 1.3 compatible cables offers considerable enhancements over previous cable versions, particularly increased transmission speed, Deep Color capability and high-definition sound support. With prices starting at $279 MSRP, these cables are available in lengths ranging from 33 ft. (10m) up to 82 ft. (25m).
Tributaries® Cable introduces its most advanced HDMI extender solution
to date, allowing an HDMI source—such as a DVD/Blu-ray disc player or
output from an A/V receiver, processor, or whole-house system—to be
placed as much as 130 feet (40 meters) away from its signal’s
destination.
Octava Inc., announced the release of a HDMI to Ethernet Extender. The HDMI Ethernet converter enables transmission of 1080P HD HDMI digital video and audio over a pair of standard Ethernet CAT5/6 cables.
