The last week of August ends a bit lamely as far as new releases are concerned, unless you're really into talking dogs.  When it comes to TV and catalog titles though, you could do a lot worse.

If you're looking for the latest and greatest, you're not going to find it on the shelves this week.  There's still plenty to love though, including the release of the final season of the most popular island based show since Gilligan's.

Everyone's got a list of movies they haven't gotten around to picking up yet.  You know, the stuff you missed, but still intend to add to your collection.  This is a good week for that, because there's very little worthwhile coming out.

George Lucas is the guy responsible for the 'Star Wars' trilogy, a movie series that has managed to live on through generations and find new fans along the way.  He's also responsible for atrocities like the 'Star Wars' prequels and the special edition versions of the original movies.

It's a good week to be a comedy fan.  Whether you're looking for something new or one of the old classics, there's plenty to love here with comedies featuring Steve Carell, Chris Rock, Jim Carrey and Chevy Chase.
