Pioneer Elite Receivers Gets iPhone / Satellite Radio Functionality
The four new models in the Elite series A/V receivers from Pioneer have received upgrades.  They are all now certified Works with iPhone, and two models can connect to the Internet and play music-subscription services from Sirius and Rhapsody.  The four new models, all 7.1 channel, include the VSX-21 (SRP: $700), the VSX-23 (SRP: $900), which ship in July, and the SC-25 (SRP: $1,700) and the SC-27 (SRP: $2,000).

Yamaha Launches New Receiver
Yamaha’s newest A/V receiver, the RX-V1065, offers a new on-screen display interface and an increase in HDMI inputs over its predecessor.  It features 7.1 channel sound, 7x105 Watts, HD radio, the ability to decode all Blu-Ray sound formats, video upscaling to 1080p, connections to an optional iPod dock, Sirius/XM-ready capabilities, four HDMI inputs and a front-panel USB port.

Denon Launching News Receivers, Blu-ray Players
Denon has just announced expansion and additions to its current lines of products, including Blu-Ray players, AV receivers and sound processing technologies.  Sixteen new AV receivers, priced between $349 and $1,999 are going to start shipping soon, some of which feature HD radio and networking capabilities.

NAD Launches the T747 & T737 A/V Receivers
The T 747 and T 737 A/V receivers are being shipped from NAD.  The T 747 features lossless decoding of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, the ability to upscale standard definition to 1080p using Faroudja DCDi, four HDMI connections, 60 Watts of power into each of the seven channels, and support for an iPod dock.

TEAC Releases the Reference 600 Hi-fi System
TEAC has debuted its Reference 600 mini component system, which includes a stereo receiver, the AG-H600DNT, and a CD player, the PD-H600.  The AG-H600DNT features audiophile-grade components and circuitry, 75 watts per channel, an FM/AM radio tuner as well as wi-fi and Ethernet capabilities, and a front USB port that can connect to an iPod dock or USB drive.
