TEAC has debuted its Reference 600 mini component system, which includes a stereo receiver, the AG-H600DNT, and a CD player, the PD-H600. The AG-H600DNT features audiophile-grade components and circuitry, 75 watts per channel, an FM/AM radio tuner as well as wi-fi and Ethernet capabilities, and a front USB port that can connect to an iPod dock or USB drive.
The Universal Port from Onkyo, a one-cable connection for accessories built into its TXSR507 and TX-SR607 A/V receivers, is going to be experiencing a whole host of new applications. An iPod/iPhone dock and an HD radio tuner are two of the newest accessories to be made available for the U-Port.
Onkyo has introduced three new receivers to its home theater line: The TX-SR607, TX-SR507, and TX-SR307. The TX-SR607 is their first 7.2-channel receiver to use Dolby Pro-Logic IIz. It also includes dual subwoofer line outputs, and the ability to upconvert analog to HDMI.
Using new technology, NAD has announced a new stereo receiver that acts as “separates” but comes in a single unit – the NAD C725BEE Stereo Receiver. This driver uses several proprietary BEE technologies, such as the Distortion Canceling Circuit, the BEE Clamp and PowerDrive.
Three new multiroom receivers will be added to the Suite 8000 series from Audio Design Associates. These receivers will all have 6 audio inputs, 2 tuners (which can be selected from FM/AM HD Radio, XM Satellite Radio or Sirius) by the consumer) and 8 zones.
