The latest receiver to come from Yamaha is pretty capable considering the price. The RX-V667 is a 7.1 channel receiver that puts out 90W to each channel. It's HDMI 1.4 equipped with six inputs and one output, and supports both 3D and Audio Return Channel.
Onkyo announced a trio of new receivers today that are capable handling just about anything you can throw at them. 3D video is a snap thanks to seven HDMI 1.4 inputs, and Onyo's new receivers are compatible with all mandatory 3D formats. Upscaling is smooth too, thanks to Faroudja DCDi Cinema.
Now those are two worlds I never thought I'd see collide. It's been announced that Walmart will start carrying Onkyo products within the next few weeks. And if that wasn't crazy enough, Onkyo will be producing two exclusive products for the mega-chain.
The latest receivers to come out of Yamaha consists of three different models. The $479 RX-V567 pumps out 90 watts per channel to 7 channels, while the $379 RX-V467 supplies 105 watts of power to 5 channels. The RX-V367 is the cheapest of the three, and is capable of powering 5 channels with 100 watts for $249.
