Yamaha Launches New 3D Capable A/V Receivers
The latest receivers to come out of Yamaha consists of three different models.  The $479 RX-V567 pumps out 90 watts per channel to 7 channels, while the $379 RX-V467 supplies 105 watts of power to 5 channels.  The RX-V367 is the cheapest of the three, and is capable of powering 5 channels with 100 watts for $249.

Integra Intros Two New 3-D Capable Receivers
The DTR-30.2 and DTR-20.2 are the latest receivers to come out of Integra, designed specifically for custom installations.  Both receivers use the new HDMI 1.4 interface, which means that they'll handle any kind of 3-D you can throw at them.  They've also got an audio return channel built right in, and a new feature called HDMI Through, which lets you watch TV even if the receiver is off.

Harman Kardon Firmware Update Enables 3D Compatibility
The firmware upgrade is one of the best things that's ever happened to home theater, and for a lot of people, it's the saving grace of 3D.  Blu-ray players, game consoles and receivers are all receiving firmware updates that allow for HDMI 1.4 compatibility, and Harman Kardon's components are no different.

Denon Expands Receiver Line with 10 Models
There are seven new Denon receivers heading to retails stores in the next few months. They're all part of what Denon calls the Retail Home Theater Series, which consists of more economical versions of their CI units.  In addition to the seven new receivers heading to retail locations this summer, Denon has announced a trio of new CI-class receivers aimed at custom installers as well.

Integra’s Nine-Channel 150W DTA-70.1 Amplifier is Now Shipping
The DTA-70.1 is the first nine channel amp to come out of Integra, and the company claims it to be “the industry's first high-performance nine-channel home theater power amplifier.”  It’s THX Ultra2 certified, which means it’s capable of driving speakers at THX levels or higher.
