Marantz Announces the Flagship SR7005 Receiver
You don't get a much cooler looking receiver than the Marantz SR7005.  When the front panel is closed, its full metal chassis has a wonderful minimalist aesthetic with only two knobs, a power button, and a circular display surrounded by a light blue glow.

Sony Announces Four New ES Receivers
The latest Elevated Standard (ES) receiver line from Sony starts with the STR-DN2010.  Like the rest of the receivers in the line, it's 3D capable and sports networking capabilities.  In fact, it's got a built-in four port Ethernet switch.   The 2010 also offers wireless second zone audio.  The unit launches this August at a price of $800.

Onkyo Announces a Pair of High-End Receivers
The latest receivers to come out of Onkyo are capable of a lot.  They're networked receivers, so you can stream music from your computer or an internet radio station.  They do 3D, iPhone playback and even multi-room audio.

Pioneer Announces New Elite Receivers
The 2010 line of Pioneer Elite receivers was announced and priced today. The flagship receiver this year is the SC-37.  It improves on the 35 by adding THX Ultra2 Plus processing, lowering the signal to noise ratio on its DACs and upgrading the 24-bit Digital Engine to 32-bits. It also sports an RF remote, FLAC decoder and a sampling rate converter that upgrades all audio sources to 192 kHz/24-bit.  The SC-37 will sell for $2,200.
