Retailing at $995 in the US, Britain’s Linn has created a new digitally synthesized AM/FM tuner called the Linn Pekin. The newest Linn Tuner since the Classik, the Linn Perkin is capable of capturing cleanly, even faint signals with its two RF signal input connections to aerial or cable feeds.
Panasonic recently announced plans to release a full line of DVD-Audio/Video products under both the Panasonic and Technics names. Slated for a July release, the Panasonic DVD-A7 will have a suggested retail price of $999.95, and the Technics DVD-A10 will have a retail at $1199.95. Technics will also introduce a line of DVD-Audio ready components, comprised of the SA-DA8 priced at $599.95 and the $799.95 SA-DA10.
