Evett and Shaw Elan
 Did you ever wish you could take along your hi-fi speakers wherever you go or have a killer speaker system for your computer? Well, the folks at Evett and Shaw must feel that way all the time because they’ve developed the first high-end loudspeaker system (including amplifier) that fits inside an aluminum Zero suitcase. The small desktop speakers and flat amplifier are a real kick to see and hear. It’s like wearing ultra-fidelity headphones as the sweet spot is extremely narrow and short. You must sit within a foot and a half of them to get the full effect. For $4,200 you get the speaker, the amp, cables for computer hook-up and the Zero case. A variety of woods and finishes for the side panels are available for an extra $100.
The Pesario loudspeaker, which was also introduced during CES, is a more traditional loudspeaker (one in which you can relax on your coach), than the suitcased Elan and will retail for $14,000.
