NAD Electronics

• Founded in 1972, NAD Electronics manufacutures audiophile grade home theater components including amplifiers DVD players, Blu-ray players, A/V receivers and tuners.  The company grew in popularity when the NAD 3020 amplifier, designed by Bjørn Erik Edvardsen, was released in the late seventies. 
• NAD specifically focuses on the power-supply design and clipping protection to offer a unique element to their products.  This allows NAD to produce an audiophile caliber piece of audio equipment for a relatively inexpensive cost.  
• NAD was an acronym for New Acoustic Dimension.  They are owned by the Lenbrook Group, who handles PSB Speakers as well.
